OSMP meeting June 10: trails update, a few bike voices would help.
OSMP staff is giving an update on the 7c and South Boulder Trail connection Wednesday night. People against bike access have been showing up every month. A handful of pro-trail voices in the room would shift the picture.
Wednesday night, June 10 at 6 PM, the Boulder Open Space Board of Trustees meets, and OSMP staff is set to give an update on the 7c and South Boulder Trail connection. People who oppose bike access on these trails have been making it a habit to show up every month and speak. The board hears them. It doesn’t hear from many of us.
We don’t need a turnout. Five is plenty. Five families or riders who go up, thank the staff for the work, say they’re interested in the next steps, and say they’re glad the process is hearing the full community voice. That’s positive, brief, and constructive, which is exactly what shifts the read of the room.
