The team bike swap is open.
We built a community bulletin board for bikes and gear. List something you've outgrown, find something you need. Great timing if you just registered and need a ride.
Mountain bikes are expensive, kids grow, and every season a pile of perfectly good gear sits in garages around Boulder while new riders scramble to find a bike. So we built something to fix that: the BHS MTB Bike Swap.
It’s a community bulletin board for bikes, kit, parts, and tools, anything a team family or neighbor wants to pass along. List it to sell, trade, donate, or give away free.
How it works
- Got something to move along? Post a listing. Add a photo, set your price (or mark it free). It goes live after a quick coach review, usually the same day.
- Looking for a bike or gear? Browse the listings. Free and donated items are highlighted at the top.
- You deal directly with each other. Contact info is on each listing. We host the board, you handle the handoff. No middleman, no fees, no cut.
Listings stay up for 60 days, so the board reflects what’s actually available right now.
Just registered? Start here.
If you signed up for the season and still need a bike, this is the first place to look. New riders often find a well-loved hardtail from a family who’s moved up to something bigger. It’s the cheapest, friendliest way into the sport.
And if the cost is a real barrier, you don’t need to post a public ad. The team has scholarship, loaner bike, and gear paths. Email coach@boulderhighmtb.org and we’ll sort it out quietly.
