If you have been putting off a helmet replacement, a new set of pads, or a bike that actually fits, that window is your moment. A few things worth knowing before you go.
Helmets are worth a hard look, because they have a shelf life whatever they look like from the outside. If yours has taken a real hit, or it is more than about five years old, it is time. A helmet that has already done its job once will not do it as well the second time.
If you are looking at a bike or a fit change, it is worth bringing the bike you actually ride and having someone check it in person. Saddle height, reach, and lever position make more difference to how you feel on Chapman than anything you can buy.
Tubes and a spare tube are not glamorous, but they are the things you will genuinely end up using, so if your trailside kit is looking thin this is a cheap week to fix it.
