Registration for Race 1, Frisco Bay Invitational on Saturday, August 29, closes at noon on Monday, August 24, 2026.

The League holds that deadline firmly and cannot add riders afterward, so the easiest thing is to get it done early and put the date in your calendar now, while you are thinking about it.

Register even if the weekend is still up in the air. Plans shift, kids change their minds, things come up. There is no penalty for registering and then not racing, and it is a much better position to be in than needing a spot on the 25th.

Two things worth sorting first

Your rider needs a Colorado League membership plus either a season race pass or per-race registration. That is separate from your team registration with us and separate from the team fee, which catches people out every year. If you are not sure where you stand, just ask. Early in the month is an easier conversation than deadline week.

And if a category exception petition is on your mind, that deadline comes first, on August 17, so it is worth coming to find me some time before then.

The rhythm for the rest of the season

Registration closes at noon on the Monday of race week, every race. I send a reminder the Thursday or Friday before and another on the morning of the deadline, so you have a backstop either way. A calendar reminder of your own is still worth setting.
