Race registration and the Frisco waiver both close Monday, August 24 at noon.
Two separate deadlines land at the same moment, and doing one does not do the other. Registration has also moved from CCN Bikes to Uplifter since the last time you did this.
Race 1 is the Frisco Bay Invitational on Saturday, August 29. Two things have to be done by noon on Monday, August 24, and they live in different systems, so doing one does not do the other.
League registration
The League has moved registration from CCN Bikes across to Uplifter, so an old bookmark will drop you on the wrong front page. Your rider needs a Colorado League membership plus either a season race pass or per-race registration for Frisco.
The League holds that deadline firmly and cannot add riders afterward, which catches people out every year.
The Town of Frisco waiver
This one is specific to the Frisco venue and is nothing to do with your League registration. Every registered rider needs to have completed it by the same noon deadline. It takes about two minutes, and of everything on this list it is the one most likely to hold your rider up on Friday afternoon.
If you are not sure where you stand
The list of registered riders goes out with the race email, so check your rider against it. Anything that looks wrong is best taken straight to the League at registration@coloradomtb.org, who can see things on their side that we cannot.
If you have not got to this yet you are in good company, which is exactly why this is going out today rather than on Monday morning.
Once those are done
The race day schedule has staging and warm-up times for every wave, and the race ready checklist covers the bike, the night before, and what to pack. Neither of those is urgent today. The two deadlines above are.
