Several riders from the team are in the Tipperary Classic at Winter Park on Saturday, August 22. It finishes at the resort base area, with awards around 1:30.
Several of our riders are racing the Tipperary Classic at Winter Park on Saturday, August 22. It used to be called the King of the Rockies, and it is a proper day out: the course starts down in Fraser, climbs a long way through singletrack, and finishes at the Winter Park Resort base area.
If you have a free Saturday and fancy some time in the mountains, it is a good one to go and watch. The finish at the base area is the place to be, and awards are at about 1:30pm at the DIA tent.
Racing runs from 8:00am to 3:00pm, and the field takes everyone from juniors and novices through to a pro category racing for prize money, so there is a lot to watch between our riders coming through.
If you are racing it, plate pick-up is Friday, August 21 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Fraser River Beer Co in Fraser, or on race day from 7:15 to 10:30am at the resort.
