Team fundraiser: 42 donations away from a $5,000 match (as of October 8).
We had 58 donations on October 8, and reaching 100 unlocks a $5,000 challenge match. The fastest way there is each rider inviting three friends or family members to give.
Our fundraiser is closing soon, and we are close to something big. As of Thursday, October 8, 58 people have donated, and 20 of those came in the last ten days alone, adding another $2,000. When we reach 100 donations, we unlock a $5,000 challenge match.
That means the number of people who give matters as much as the amount. A gift of any size moves us one donation closer.
If you have already donated
Thank you. The most useful thing you can do now is pass it on to a grandparent, a neighbor, or a friend who has watched your rider race this season.
If you have not donated yet
Chris Barge’s fundraiser email from October 8 has your personal donation link and login, so search your inbox for “BHS MTB Team Fundraiser update” and use the link there. Using the link from that email matters, because a shared link can lock a donor’s account.
If you cannot find the email, write to coach@boulderhighmtb.org and we will get it to you.
Riders, this is where you come in
We are asking every rider to invite at least three friends or family members to donate. Your login uses your BVSD email address, and the password is in Chris’s email. Once you are in, you enter each person’s name and email, write them a short note, and the site sends them the invitation.
If every rider sends three, we will have far more than 42 invitations out. A short note in your own words, about what the team means to you or how your season went, is what gets people to give.
